In this course, you will develop knowledge and skills that will increase your ability to work as an emergency responder (e.g., police, fire, ambulance) or healthcare worker (e.g., nurses) while maintaining wellness throughout your career. Maintaining wellness in any job or volunteer work is important because work stress, unless managed effectively, will affect your overall quality of life. This includes your physical and mental health, and relationships with your colleagues, family and friends. Becoming an emergency responder or healthcare worker may be your passion and that’s a good thing. However allowing your passion to negatively impact your life is not something you bargained for. So let’s look at how you can thrive in your profession.

NOTE: You will get a Certificate of Completion when all the components of the course have been marked as complete. This includes lessons, topics, and quizzes. The certificate will show up on top of this page and you will be able to print it.
